A Hidden Gem in Boone! Wild Craft Eatery is a cozy, welcoming spot with a refreshingly eclectic menu that offers something for everyone — especially vegans and vegetarians. The food is creative and flavorful, with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. My favorite dish on the menu was the Thai yellow curry ! It was really flavorful warm and like a hug on a plate! The all-women staff is warm, hard-working, and made us feel right at home. It feels like a women-owned business, and the care shows in every detail. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Boone!
Everything about our dinner experience here was amazing! We were visiting from out of town on a holiday weekend and having trouble finding a spot with availability. The Wild Harvest employees were welcoming, fun and efficient and the atmosphere was like being at your favorite artsy aunt’s house. Great artwork and comfortable environment. Our group included a vegetarian, a non vegetarian and 2 young children. We were all beyond satisfied with the unique and creative menu options. Food was high quality, flavorful and fresh. Great selection of vegetarian and vegan choices that are much more exciting and thoughtful than the classic veggie offerings…also well priced and huge portions! Even the picky kids cleaned their plates! We can’t wait to try the lunch menu next time.
Had the mahi mahi tacos, incredibly tasty. Their mango salsa is to die for. My sweetie had the chorizo chili special and loved it! Beautiful decorations.
This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I got the mahi-mahi fish tacos and they were honestly the best I’ve EVER had. Olivia was our server and she was great as well.
Took my kids and met some old friends at Wildcraft and it exceeded all expectations! They had the yardbird, I had the Chaing Maya noodles and my buddy got the tacos and everything was fresh, delicious and tasty! Seriously the noodles might be one of the best things I have ever eaten! The staff was excellent, the owner checked on us and was a delight! Cannot recommend Wildcraft too much! Best food in Boone no doubt
2026 July: Drove into town planning to go somewhere else for lunch, yet since we were driving by, noticing it wasn't jam packed, we pulled in and got a parking place. The food was excellent. Service too. Wife got a BLT, and I got a beef tacos plate. We weren't disappointed. Also, they serve Coke products. We'd still recommend. 2025: It's July 4th, we decided to eat a bit later than normal(7:20pm) and we drive by Wild Craft. My wife says, "it's not busy". Highly unusual...normally packed out. So, I turn around and find a parking place on the road side about 3 blocks away. We are immediately seated outside as the temperature today was comfortable. Our waitress was very pleasant and during our entire visit was very attentive. I got the Yardbird. A southern comfort plate. Very delicious. My wife got the Baha Mahi Tacos. She thoroughly enjoyed them. Both dishes had plenty of food on them. Since it was later in the evening and the sun was setting, it shined in us for a bit. Luckily we were at a table near the building. For those seated away from the building, it was a bit of an eye strain to look toward the setting sun. 🌞 My wife did have her sunglasses on during dinner as the glare bothered her. As we left the restaurant, we noticed there were a few parking spots available on the side of the building. We'll come back. I'd recommend.
We chose this place randomly in a rush, but it ended up being the best food experience of our weekend trip in that area. It definitely deserves more than a 4.6 rating. The Boonie pot pie and meatloaf were so good that next time I’m in the area, I’ll go back and order the same dishes again, which I usually never do.
Delicious lentil soup, tempeh tacos, and Asian rice/quinoa vegetable plate. Lovely service. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. Good was served in a timely manner. We sat outside on the covered patio out front which is a bit loud due to being on the main street with lots of traffic.
Absolutely outstanding, fresh, delicious food, with several vegetarian options. I got the tempeh Rueben and husband got tempeh tacos. We were both super impressed by both the quality and portions. Patio is dog friendly. Service very friendly. We would absolutely return to this place the next time we’re in town.
The best food in Boone! We ate here multiple times. I have never been somewhere that made tofu just as mouth watering as a dish with local beef. This chef is incredible! Idk how they know how to do pot pie, curry, and tofu tacos, but they do and so well! And this is probably the best and healthiest kids menu we've ever seen. Our toddler had no problem eating anything and everything here as well. 5 stars all around!
